Jared Decker
Owner/Chief Engineer
Jared Decker learned engineering theory and drafting from working at his fathers engineering firm at the age of 14. In 2013, he went to work for the Freedom Group at their LAR facility, and after his deployment with the Utah National Guard to Afghanistan in 2014, he moved to Alabama to become a Manufacturing engineer at the Remington Plant in Huntsville. During his time in Huntsville he designed, built and managed automated assembly lines for manufacturing rimfire and centerfire rifles. In 2024 He established Desert Yankee as an 07/02 FFL/SOT and began manufacturing his own firearms, specializing in 10mm, and Belt Fed roller delayed systems.
In 2025 Linked Kinetics was established as the preeminent belt fed conversion establishment.
